A perfectly flexible vehicle on a car licence.
We are always amazed how difficult it is to keep these light trucks in stock. When they go out on hire customers tend to keep them for extended periods or end up simply buying one from us. The biggest sellling point to companies in Ireland is that these large vehicles require only a standard car licence to drive, have no tachograph requirement or speed limiter requirement either.
Chassis and Body Selected just for your application.
Our Dropside trucks are on either a Opel Movano or Mercedes Sprinter chassis depending on requirement. Our bodies range up to 14ft in length, the sides are removable as is the tailgate. This give great flexibility in load options. Up front is a H frame extending over the cab. On a 14ft configuration the H frame enables lenghts of up to 18ft to be carried safely.
Good Payload and Seating for 3.
Our dropside vehicles can carry up to 1.2 tonnes depending on configuration. The cab has seating for a driver and 2 passengers.
A variety of applications.
We have a diverse user base of these trucks. Construction companies favour them as they are are less pro to damage on building sites and the increased visibility over a panel van is an important safety concern. Landscaping companies are another group that favor dropside vehicles also. .
Insurance- Use your own or purchase ours. Drivers need to be 27-70.
Credit Cards - Your credit card is never processed until vehicle collection, there is a 500 Euro deposit required on our vehicles.
Licence - Driver must have held a full licence for 2 years, licence needs to be present at pickup.
Tolls - M50 trips are paid for upon return of vehicle, all other tolls are paid for directly by customer.
Going aboard - Company must arrange AA European cover and inform us of Travel destination, A surcharge will apply for vehicles taken abroad. A higher deposit applies for travel abroad.
Parking - You are more than welcome to use our car park for the duration of our rental.
